1 Carnaval Moscato Rose (NV)
Comments: Very perfumy, bright, a little tank at first, black currant top notes, strawberry and a bit of mulberry, quince, floral, bright and fresh, big bursting black cherry, perfumed black Muscat honied notes black berry in the palate, nice depth and spice to the fruit, not my style but I'm not sure you're going to find a better rose moscato, 88pts

2 Cabernet Franc Pequenas Partilhas Serra Gaúcha (2009)
Comments: Six months in second and third passage American and French oak Lovely tomato leaf, cactus pad, vegetal character on the nose, red berry fruit, spicy, vegetal spice, lightly smoky red berry earthy fruit, bright and clear, transparent, deep fruit, earthy, mineral. Dark fruit but fresh, a little plummy with a little saltiness on the finish, fine crisp tannins, nicely ripe and fairly mature though still taut in the mouth, there's a definite stony quality on the finish that this shares with the Cab, nice length, 87pts

3 Vinicola Aurora Reserva Tannat (2010)
Comments: Smoky, bit of bacon, bit of soapy florals with a little herbal, tomato leaf top note, epazote, little lamb fat gaminess, very clear on the palate, lovely black berry, black cherry fruit, soft tannins, a backing note of herb stem with some. Mineral shading son the backend, more mineral on the finish, this really dusts the tongue with minerality, just a touch soft on the palate, but full of pure fruit with a bit of peppery lift on the finish, 87pts

4 Vinicola Aurora Chardonnay Pinto Bandeira (2011)
Comments: Fruity nose, not sweet but kind of full on pineapple, sweet apple and peach aromas streaked with wood spice and vanilla, a touch loose on entry, nice fruit, a lightly creamy edge, rich and round flavors of easy pineapple and peach fruit topped with a hint of tangerine, the acid makes an appearance on the backend, and then there's a dry, firm, mineral laden finish, a little sneaky as this starts out fruity and easy but ends, taut and mineral with a hint of saltiness 86pts

5 Vincola Aurora Reserva Cabernet (2009)
Comments: Stemmy, very lightly vegetal, bit of granite, lightly jammy blackberry fruit, soil tones, rich soil and some stones, a bit of cigar box, soft on entry but with better clarity than the merlot, fresh fruit blackberry, black raspberry, soft tannins, easy styled, a nice touch of mineral on the backend, coffee, cigar box and that notes on the pretty long finish, there’s a lurking note of wild grape jolly rancher here, dry stony tannins on the finish. This has a distinct style and appeal. 86pts

Comments: Schiava like nose, a bit of flinty smoke, lightly jammy strawberry, a bit of seeds, oily, silky on entry then this pops with bright acidity, a little cherry fruit in the background with cran/raspberry tones on the plate, a little fine grained tannins adding some cut on the plate, a touch mineral and. Lean on the finish with very fresh fruity strawberry finale. 86pts

Comments: Black tea, soil, light caramel oak toast, bit of American oak rawness, slightly jammy black plum/black berry fruit, fruity, fruit bomby though it's barely full bodied with barely enough acidity balancing out the sweetness here, plenty of rs, plummy fruit that turns to bitter cocoa on the dusty finish, super popular styled wine. 83pts
