2008 Bordeaux Blind Tasting

Review from original list creator: "Shallow and tight on the nose with fine base of gravelly minerality and slow to blossom red fruits that show a seductive freshness. Lean and crisp on entry, this is balanced and elegant with lovely mineral and licorice notes accenting the core black cherry and currant fruit. With air this smoothens out a bit but remains a bit stern at its core. A fine bottle of Bordeaux, classically balanced and one that should age well but not require too much time to begin to drink at peak. 92pts" by 89065Gregory Dal Piaz
