Direct Sales Manager

Snooth (snooth.com), the largest wine site in the world, is looking for a highly talented and motivated Direct Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for selling Snooth's online ad inventory as well as working cooperatively with the Marketing Director to design and sell integrated marketing packages to winery trade groups.
- Increase revenue through sales of advertising inventory and marketing campaigns.
- Define and maintain client list.
- Develop and sell online ad campaigns.
- Build relations with wine trade groups and develop highly integrated marketing campaigns for them.
Duties Include:
- Knowledge of and contacts in luxury brand advertisers.
- 3+ years experience selling advertising in online or offline media.
- Thorough understanding of the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Experience with food, wine, and lifestyle brands.
- Good understanding of the wine industry and its unique structure.
- Good understanding of the digital media landscape, as well as a solid grasp of the web and social networks.
- Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and how they operate.
- Understanding of audience demographics, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization.
- BA/BS degree required.
Skills Needed:
Position Description:
The Direct Sales Manager position will work alongside a dedicated team to drive Snooth's growth. Snooth has proven revenue streams but it is up to this person to expand the client list and develop and maximize new sources of revenue.
This is a new position at Snooth - we are looking for a highly motivated hunter type who is hungry and does not take no for an answer. Snooth is a fast growing brand with a highly desirable demographic, but is still relatively new to the advertising world. You must be able to turn an initial No into Yes.

Ad and Sales Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and be intellectually curious while still able to develop creative solutions to problems.
Snooth is growing quickly, so there is potential for this position to develop and evolve over time, as the company’s needs change. This position is ideally suited for someone junior who wants to get involved in a dynamic startup that is at the intersection of wine and technology.

- Operate as the point person for all ad trafficking for the site and own the entire implementation process
- Assist sales team with research, analysis and packaging creative advertising campaigns
- Implement project management policies to manage offshore data entry team
- Generate data analysis to support the business units
Duties
- Manage timely implementation of display, email, and all other forms of advertising
- Coordinate flow of ad information internally and externally
- Evaluate performance of and make suggestions to optimize ads
- Test and troubleshoot ad delivery issues
- Prepare campaign summary reports as needed
- Prepare analyses and proposals to support new business initiatives
- Participate in developing innovative promotional campaigns for clients
Daily Responsibilities:
- Ability to think analytically and logically
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new systems and improve processes
- BA/BS degree required, preferably with a major in an analytical/mathematical field
- Quick learner, self-starter, and able to teach yourself computer applications

Engineering Intern

- Build tools (largely in PHP and Perl) to help the team work more efficiently.
- Help to test code before it is released on the production environment.
- Work with a large data set — improve quality of the data as the quantity scales.
- Work with the team to uncover and resolve potential issues.
Duties Include:
- Good knowledge (1 year experience+) of some combination of PHP, Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and XML.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Skills Needed:
- Learn best coding practices.
- Participate in a dynamic and motivated team.
- Work with a mature platform.
- Be encouraged to own projects and work independently.
