Terzolo Tercolo Teran Istria Croatia 2008
Teran is a dark-skinned grape varietal grown in Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy, and belongs to the Refosco family of grape varieties. It produces a rich, slightly sour, full-bodied red wine, and is meant to be drunk young. It is traditionally paired with prosciutto, other pork dishes, sausages, panceta or cooked ham with horseradish.
