Plantagenet Shiraz Omrah 2001
Member Review by Ryan Vandervalk:
The second time i ever drank red it was this stuff. It cemented my love of the red grape. Quite fruity to begin with and then it settles down to reveal some exquisite tastes and texures including: sublte tannins, a little bit earthy, sweet berries, and had a very fine, yet noticeable texture. On the nose it was berries, oak and eucalyptus (again - i know, maybe im just too aussie, maybe ive got a gum leaf up my schnozz, maybe iv got a tree stump for a brain) Managed to find a bottle of the same wine for safe keeping, ill give it a crack in a year or two's time and see how much (if !) it improved. Cheers, VanPlonko
