Mulderbosch Shiraz 2005

External Review:

A deep colour of blackberries, almost bordering on squid ink. Violets, iodine and a freshly ground pepper bouquet are prominent on the nose. On the palate; dark cherries, cloves, nutmeg and Allier wood spices combine to give an exceptionally balanced wine. A soft wine with great extract, natural fruit complexity that lingers on the tongue. To quote winemaker, Mike Dobrovic; a-Simply delicious!a

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
