Kim Crawford Chardonnay Marlborough Unoaked 2010
Pale straw color. A fruit-forward nose showing rich pineapple, white stonefruit, and melon characteristics. A soft, full-length palate of intense pineapple and tropical fruits. Cellar Two years with confidence. Drink it with all seafood, delicate white meats and creamy pasta dishes.
One of the reasons why New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs have taken the world by storm. Delightful to the point of exuberance, this is a great wine for drinking alone of with lighter fare.
This is an impressive Chardonnay and quite different from the US versions. It has lime and lemon flavors in the mouth as well as in the nose but the amount of fruit is amazing. It has a great acid balance and one can tell it is from NZ. At 14% alc it is obviously harvested very ripe. A great effort. 91/100
Nice balance of acidity, fruity with a nose of Stay Puff Marshmallows. Oh, wait, that last one was from the s'mores!
Very nice, had it with the Murray at PBR with salmon

Simple fruit flavors of golden pear balance this winersquo;s malty scents of lees. Itrsquo;s a clean, grapey white for crawfish.
