Château Bouissel Fronton Classic 2007

External Review by Astor Wines & Spirits:

Qu'est-ce que c'est, you ask? Good question. It's a wine from just outside of the city of Toulouse, made in a hearty, rustic fashion, mostly from the Negrette grape (which is pretty common in that part of Gascony). This is full of black, earth-driven fruit with rosemary and violets.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

50% Negrette 25% Syrah 25% Cot. Aromas of violet. This wine is both juicy and powerful. Tannins are soft and well integrated.
