Castoro Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles 2008

Member Review by Jesse Jansen:

Very good Cab for the price. Costco has this wine for $9.99. This is by far the best cab I have had under 10 bucks. Very tasty blackberry, cherry, plum flavors with a good potent smell.

Castoro Cellars:
The husband and wife team of Niels and Bimmer Udsen established Castoro Cellars with the goal of producing world-class wines from Paso Robles-appellation grapes. Each vintage presents a new challenge and Niels is more than willing to constantly and creatively experiment. This on-going research is only one of the things that ensures they meet their goal.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
