Zantho Zweigelt 2011
Incredibly deep red characterizes our Zweigelt. In the nose the wine shows deep fruit of fresh cherries and dark berries with some hints of cinamon. On the palate the wine seduces with juicy fruit paired with fine acidity. The medium body is backed up by fine acidity and end in a long and elegant finish.
The wines from ZANTHO are made in cooperation of Umathum winery and Wolfgang Peck from Winzerkeller Andau. Josef Umathum guarantees for the high quality of the grapes and is responsible for the quality management in the vineyards. Wolfgang Peck, Managing Director of Winzerkeller Andau, is responsible for the winemaking. Together they produce on 50ha of vineyards typical wines made from indigenous grapes.
