Viña Santa Rita Sauvignon Blanc Valle del Maule 120 2007
Not normally a fan of many whites, but this had such complexity. It is difficult to describe, but is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I've had since the Franciscan, which this reminds me of, but has less fruit and more green flavors, grass, green onion... thrilled to have shelled out only $12.49 at the Ideal grocery down the street.
Too tangy fermented flavor.
smokey, smooth, dark berries
Excellent balance, clean finish, very sharp. Perfect with rich dishes such as sea scallop saute over risotto Milanese.
A great quality price ratio for this refreshing White wine. Good with fish and chicken or as an aperitif.

Pretty impressive.` (Mar/Apr '08) 90 points Wine Spectator: `Bright and pure with lots of mache sweet pea chive flower and mineral flavors backed by a bright tangy finish.
