Vina Robles Sauvignon Blanc Jardine Vineyard 2010
Mellow and light citrus, papaya and honey. Fresh and crisp with fine acidity and a hint of cream on the finish.
Great white that pairs well with spicy foods.
fresh and ripe. not much of a finish but hte front makes up for it with some exotic fruit flavors. Lots of pear which disappears pretty quickly. The hollow midpalate is telling me this should be enjoyed soon as it doesn't have any aging potential.
Citrus and fragrant to the nose, nice pear, apple, and some melon notes, nicely acidic and mineral
sweet, acidic, melon. a little tangy but a smooth finish. medium bodied
Flavor of citrus and flower with discreet acid after is not that strong. Very easy to drink and good quality with this price range. Can be much any kind of non-spicy seafoods.
External Reviews for Vina Robles Sauvignon Blanc Jardine Vineyard
Rating: 87/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. This nicely made wine sports a certain brightness and a mildly acidy bounce despite showing the ripeness and weight that its warmer provenance correctly predicts, and its sweeter, melon-likes traits are accented with suggestions of grapefruit. It is as clean as can be and promises versatile service with either richer fish or savory fowl fare over the coming two or three years.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.
