Vintage: 2005 03/23/2009

Grown mostly in the NE of Italy, the name schiopettino means "gunshot". The ceremonial wine for (shotgun?) weddings as far back as the 13th century, it became almost extinct from phylloxera. It produces very aromatic wines with peppery notes.
