Very intense on the nose with typical aromas of grass and jalapeno over a core of light orchard fruits. Light-bodied in the mouth but very well-balanced, allowing the mostly herbal tones of the fruit to express themselves in the mouth while the overt fruit takes back seat until it re-emerges on the citrussy finish. 88pts
Nose: asparagus, lime, hints of gooseberry, smoky/flinty edge?. nettle. Intense, green & citrussy. Palate: Lime, asparagus, gooseberry, lemon, lime peel, nettle? Fresh, crisp, crunch acidity. Crunchy, slight phenolic edge. Slight hint of minerality in finish. Savoury on finish.
The aromatics are strong and expressive, displaying heavy tropical notes of fresh herbs, guava and a slight hint of grassiness. This wine is extremely crisp where you'll find flavors of passion fruit, grapefruit and guava without being overly sweet. These flavors are accompanied by a bright, mouthwatering acidity that begs you to take another sip. This wine sets itself apart from other NZ Sauv Blancs due to it not being overly sweet, aggressive or grassy - ie. Kim Crawford, Nobilo, Starborough.
The very definition of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Almost-shocking green bell pepper, jalapeno, and citrus on the nose, and from there, it's straight across the plate: tall grass, passionfruit, and long-lasting acidity so electric you could read by it.

Super Yum. First a bunch of the straw, cat-pee, grapefruit explosion on the nose.... grapefruit and even a touch of banana on the finish. Second night, it was all about the pineapple soda. Maybe a hint hint of kiwi.

Pale, bright yellow. Grapefruit and tarragon on the slightly herbal nose. Juicy and quite dry, with classic citrus and herbal sauvignon flavors offering good intensity. Could use more depth but finishes with decent persistence.
