Trumpeter Familia Rutini Chardonnay Tupungato 2011
Very middle of the road wine. Decent nose of apples and oak. Not much flavor though. A bit tart for with not much body. Very drinkable, just not very memorable.Add winemaker's notes

External Reviews for Trumpeter Familia Rutini Chardonnay Tupungato
Possibly the best value in Chardonnay Irsquo;ve encountered this year, Trumpeterrsquo;s 2004 Chardonnay roars from the glass with floral aromas. An extremely vinous offering, it expands to reveal a suave, lush, opulent personality redolent with expressive, exquisitely ripe white fruits. Fermented as well as aged in equal proportions stainless steel and oak barrels (30% new), this wine, a resounding success for Trumpeter, has loads of character and a long, seamless finish. Enjoy it over the next 2 years.
Round and ripe, with good pear tartine and baked apple notes, followed by a toasty finish. For fans of the style. Drink now.
