The grape varietal Muscat Canelli is one of the oldest known varietals, dating back to Mesopotamian time. The grapes for this wine were harvested in the early morning hours and at night to keep the fruit cool and maintain the delicate ﬂavors. A long, cool fermentation allowed for excellent ﬂavor retention.
At tradewinds winery, we focus on producing tropical fruit wines from 100% pure fruit. no additives (other than a bit of sulfites to keep the wine from browning, just like 99.9% of all other wineries). We have a Pineapple wine made from 100% pure pineapple juice, a bit of natural residual sweetness and a lovely golden color. We also produce a 100% pure Passion Fruit wine. Zippy and tangy with a wonderful natural sweetness.

True to its varietal nature, this Muscat comes alive with an alluring nose and ﬂavors of peach, apricot and citrus zest. It is a very pretty, light bodied wine with excellent length and balance and a touch of sweetness on the ﬁnish.
