The Little Penguin Pinot Noir 2010
Australian Wines have long dominated the import category here in the united states. While the pinot noir has become one of the most popular varietals, the Little Penguin's home is still an untapped region for pinot noir. Seeing the potential in Australia to become the next big producer of pinot noir, The Little Penguin is pleased to announce the latest addition to the family - The Little Penguin Pinot Noir!
The little penguin wines are appropriate for any occasion. From a party with the whole colony to a quiet night in the burrow, the little penguin enjoys nothing more than socializing and foraging for delicacies.
This is what I'm looking for, especially someone that is new to the wine world. Penguin's Noir is approachable and smooth as hell--no wincing going on here. Additionally, it is very affordable!
Did not like this one as much as their Pinot Grigio. A little too puckery.
