Taittinger Brut la Francaise NV
For the money I would say this is the best value . Full of bubbly effervescence
This a a great basic champagne. TASTING The color is brilliant, intense yellow. The bubbles are fine. The mousse is discreet and persistant enough. The nose, very expressive and open, is both fruity and with notes of fesh bread. It exudes aromas of peach, white flowers ( acacia) and vanilla. On the palate, this lively fresh wine is at once in harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. In all a wine blessed with a well-developed aromatic potential. It is aged for three to four years in the cellars where it achieves perfect maturity. The cellars are a must to see kilometers of (roman origin) caveau while visitng Reims.

Balanced with a rich toasty character bright acidity and subtle notes of lemon curd cream quince paste and fleur de sel. Ends with a firm minerally finish. Drink now through 2015.
A rich Champagne beautifully elegant toughed by yellow fruits apples and just the right amount of weight. There are final hints of toast spice and creamy coconut milk giving a Champagne that is as much about wine as about bubbles.
The NV Brut La Francaise shows terrific precision and cut at this level, with gorgeous balance and a clean finish laced with the essence of minerals and smoke. The entry-level La Francaise reveals tons of Chardonnay character in a precise, steely style.
According to the Wine Enthusiast: From a fine house, this bubbly has classic aromas of yeast and lime, with a hint of vanilla and coconut. In the mouth, it?s rich and full-bodied, with delicate citrus flavors
The high proportion of Chardonnay is used in the blend gives this wine a crispness that is uncommon in non-vintage Champagnes. La Française sets the standard for lightness and delicacy among the Champagne houses.
Beautifully integrated aroma. Smooth and creamy in the mouth, rich with fruit, the fine effervescence carries the wineandrsquo;s full flavors as if they were weightless. Dry, leesy length of flavor, with touches of complexity.
Celebrations, weddings, large dinner parties, you name it, this size is the perfect way to satisfy everyone.
