Surprised it was a Merlot, full body of a cab. Good structure, well balanced. Had some staying power in the fridge. Was a little dry.
aromas of deep, lush fruit – blackberry, cherry, strawberry and cassis – with hints of earth and caramel. Juicy flavors of black fruit show generously on the palate and the complimenting blend of intense flavors and silky tannins.
Clay and I tried this in San Francisco for dinner. I had it with the prime rib and it was very good.
