Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Merlot 2010

Member Review by Wolle:

My Rating 90: Wine elgant but still on the tannic bitter side . Nose complex with many layers and very long. Many of my guest did not like this wine because of the bitter aftertaste and would rate it much lower. Price much too high for this quality

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars:
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is considered one of Napa Valley's first-growths. We were founded by Warren Winiarski and his family in 1970 and are best known for our estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignons — CASK 23, S.L.V., and FAY. Over the years, our wines have become some of the most highly regarded and collected wines worldwide. They are fashioned to express classic elegance, structure, and ageability, and to reflect the place in which they are grown.

Easy Drinking, starts with a burst of flavor on the palate. Dark purple, full-bodied with a long finish. Hints of blue cheese, oak, and hint of spice
