Santa Julia Malbec Sustainable Mendoza 2010

Member Review by julieimagery:

This is a nice malbec. It still has tannins that are stronger than my favorite wines. But it's good for the price. I believe I got this one for $9.99.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
