Rich and refined, this is a pink bubbly with a serious side. It's dry, with a vinous edge to the light berry and watermelon flavors. Has fine balance, with a lingering cherry and mineral aftertaste. Drink now through 2010. –BS - Wine Spectator Magazine 90 Points
A firm rosé, more about its elegant texture and streak of minerality than the flavors of wild strawberry, white cherry, grilled plum and graphite. Hints of spice and fleur de sel accent the finish. Drink now through 2020.
The NV Brut Rosé is made in a similarly elegant and refined style, even though it isn't quite as expressive as the Blanc de Blancs at the outset. With time in the glass the Pinot qualities come through with greater focus. The NV Rosé offers excellent length and a polished personality in the signature Ruinart style. This is Lot: LAD7ZCA, disgorged July, 2007. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2011.
Premier Crus pinot noir and chardonnay blend; the glass explodes with hints of small red berries; the finish is fresh and bright with a hint of spice.
A mature, beautifully balanced wine, with great fresh raspberry and red currant flavors. It is rich, dense, balancing toast, yeast and fresh fruit. With its dry edge, think of this as a food wine.
Dark pink. Fresh, zesty nose offers pure strawberry and pomegranate aromas and hints of Asian spices. Then deep, rich and smoky on the palate, with a chewy texture to the ripe red berry and cherry flavors. Finishes with noteworthy length. This medium-bodied wine has the clarity and energy to work as an aperitif but is also rich enough to serve at the table.
