This is an impressive Cab Franc from Red Newt, with bright cherry, violet and pepper spice on the nose and a fresh, lively blend of red fruit in the mouth. The harmonious acid and structure add to the upfront, appealing nature of this wine.
This well-balanced red shows cherry and herbal flavors, fresh and clean, without obvious oak. Good structure, on a lighter scale. Drink now.
Shows a crisp edge up-front, but opens nicely to show solid cherry fruit and darker plum notes. Toasty, tobacco-tinged finish.
High-toned, with floral and maraschino cherry notes and sweet, vanilla-tinged toast on the elegant finish. Opens in the glass to show more depth. Drink now.
