Philippe Colin Chevalier-Montrachet 2006
Winemaker's Notes:
Tasting note: Soft wood toast highlights an elegant, pure and ultra refined nose of primarily white flowers and subtle spice and mineral hints that are also reflected by the round, rich and unusually generous flavors, at least in the context of a young Chevalier, that are perhaps a bit less precise than usual but more powerful as well, all wrapped in an intensely sappy and palate staining finish. If it weren't for the intense minerality, this would frankly be more in the character of a fine Bâtard than a cut from the cloth Chevalier. Either way, it should reward 5 to 7 years of cellar time.Burghound.com*only 1 bottle in stock*
