Perrier Jouet Fleur de Champagne Gift Set 1998
Perrier-Jouet was established in 1811 in the town of Epernay and soon became globally successful. In 1854 Perrier-Jouet became the first house to release a dry Champagne, at a time when the wines were prevailingly sweet, and by this action Charles Perrier was essentially the creator of the Brut designation that is the predominant style today. The 1998 Fleur de Champagne Belle Epoque by Perrier-Jouet arrives in a beautiful bottle, and is made great by a high proportion of Cramant grand cru Chardonnay from the Cotes de Blancs. It is lively and fresh, with vanilla and honey aromas that change on the palate to citrus with a hint of tropical fruit at the close.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
