Patrick Jasmin Cote Rotie 2005
91 points Josh Raynolds (IWC): Dark red. Perfumed, red berry-dominated bouquet of fresh violet, minerals and baking spices. Fleshy raspberry and cherry flavors are firmed by silky tannins and energized by vibrant minerality. I really like this wine's unadorned, understated personality. Finishes sweet, broad and long, with outstanding focus.
Tasted as part of a Rhone wine tasting. Cherries and some herbaceous notes along with a nice minerality. Nice silkiness in texture with a decently long finish. I would love to have tried this one with a few more years of bottle age.
