Winemaker's Notes:

The name of the cuvee comes from a centuries-old farmhouse situated in one of the most lovely areas of Provence. The Grenache in this cuvee conjures up the deep, dark fruit aromas of areas such as Rasteau (Cotes du Rhone) and the Cotes du Ventoux while the spicy Syrah adds another layer of complexity to this mouth-filling red.

Created in 1994, the Cave du Paradou operates an area of about 4 ha. The vineyards are located mainly in the communes of Nax and Vernamiège at the entrance of Val d'Herens. The production of some parchet located in the Rhone valley completes the set with late-maturing varieties such as Cornalin, Petite Arvine, Marsanne, Humagne red or Syrah. Created in 1994, the Cave du Paradou operates an area of about 4 ha. The vineyards are located mainly in the communes of Nax and Vernamiège at the entrance of Val d'Herens. The production of some parchet located in the Rhone valley completes the set with late-maturing varieties such as Cornalin, Petite Arvine, Marsanne, Humagne red or Syrah. Twenty-five varieties are vinified separately and offer a wide range, from dry white wines with sweet and aromatic from late harvest through the red high for some barrels in Bordeaux. A great wine is produced primarily in the vineyard. For this reason special care is taken to produce grapes of high quality: Adaptation of different grape varieties to their vineyards are best suited. Strict limits on production essential for obtaining concentrated wines and typed. Cultural methods that respect the environment: the vineyards are operated under the principles of integrated production. La Cave du Paradou participates in the group of Vitival Bramois. Read less
