Owen Roe Yakima Red 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

This signature Yakima Valley Red Wine is a unique blend of the varietals we feel best represent each vintage. Chosen from several vineyards in the Yakima Valley, aromas of deep cherry and raspberry fill the glass. Flavors of slate, dusty rock and ash are nicely encompassed with rich chocolate, potpourri spice and blueberry notes; finishing with gripping tannins and incredible structure.

Owen Roe:
Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
