Owen Roe Sinister Hand Columbia Valley 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

Blend of Grneache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Aromas of spicy red hots, cinnamon and pine lead to a bursting mouth-feel of cassis, white pepper and granite. Fruity notes of raspberry and blackberry enhance this structured, firm tannin blend and finish with hints of rosemary and clove. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 90 points and 'Best Buy' by Wine & Spirits: ...bright red raspberry fruit. Then it finishes with peppery, earthbound syrah. The elements need some time to meld. For currywurst.
