Member Review by Val13:

Allspice/bayleaf nose, very fruity, blackberry palate for a Malbec. Just a thread of earth, berry finish, mid acid, moderate and balanced tannins

Navarro Correas:
During the winter pruning we are going to control the production capacity of the plant, the vineyard is going to produce a certain number of clusters, and we will regulate the number of buds of each plant by using scissors.

1. 2007 Navarro Correas Celeccion Privada Malbec – Mendoze, Argentina (13.9%) – Color: bordering on purple without being inky, Nose: plum, Taste: plum, fiery without harsh tannins, strong mid-palate, long finish, well balanced especially for a malbec Lamarr: A- (flavorful and fun, complex enough to keep you drinking, thumbs up)

Not bad. Mild oak with pleasant fruit (plum) tones. Very smooth throughout. Worth trying.

Navarro Correas, one of Argentina's top estates, sources fine Malbec from its Maipu vineyards in the Andean foothills, south of Mendoza city. Aged in French oak, this perennial Astor favorite is a soft, fruity red with engaging spicy character.

This wine is juicy raspberry, spice, and smoky aromas combine with ripe flavors of plum and cherry. Full-bodied yet ripe tannins yield a long, soft, flavorful finish.
