Matthiasson Syrah Rose 2012
The Rosé is delicate and crisp with a light salmon or pale peach color. It has a subtle nose of white pepper, blood orange, and grapefruit. It is quite fleshy in the mouth, despite the low alcohol and lots of mouthwatering acidity. There is sort of a beeswax character in the front of the palate, with a very dry and almost salty finish. It's begging for prosciutto and melon.

For our wine, we have selected a small number of exceptional vineyard sites to make unique wine of the highest quality, with production that is simple but careful. This concept is central to the tradition of viticulture and winemaking. Respect for this tradition forms the core of our work. To that end, our hands literally touch every vine and every bottle.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
