Pretty one note for me on the nose and finish. The citrus was there, but kinda monotone. Have had much more detailed fruit explosion in Martinborough SBs for nearly half the price.

Delivers a winning combination of wet stone minerality and fruit intensity. Pink grapefruit, tart nectarine and aromatic guava flavors have a lingering, nervy vibrancy. Drink now.
Sweet pea, lime and grass flavors have very good concentration, with citrus peel, fresh thyme and mineral notes pinpointing the lively finish. Drink now.
I have to say this is my favorite New Zealander of all time. Utterly smooth, with none of the grassy characteristics associated with the Sauvignon Blancs from this region, the flavors of pineapple and pear counterpoint each other beautifully. A little lighter than the rsquo;06 vintage, with an excellent finish, this wine will pair well with any white meat or salad.
It is obvious that this is a superb quality Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are hand picked to ensure that only the best fruit makes it to the bottle. Rich, ripe aromatics of passionfruit, gooseberry and elderflower are enticing from the start. The ripe and fresh nuances of nectarine, spice and floral notes delight the palate. The wine has a soft texture, with a lengthy and vibrant finish. Serve with Oysters Rockefeller or Maryland crabcakes.
