Mark Ryan Red Bordeaux Blend Red Mountain Long Haul 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Long Haul is a Merlot-driven wine supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. The 2010 Long Haul is a testament to a beautiful vintage and the incredible work done in vineyards. Each lot was fermented separately in 1.5-ton fermenters from between 12 and 18 days. Then the wines were gently pressed to barrel where malolactic fermentation was completed. The wine was racked only twice prior to bottling and is unfiltered.

Nice red fruit and fresh straw on the nose. Slight floral aromas. Delicate red berry fruit on the palate with flowers and straw. Nice and smooth. Very tasty! 93 pts. 8/12/11 at Tasting Room
