Madiran

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

Aromas of cherries abound, with notes of cocoa, green pepper and wood shavings. A nice, low-key red out of the Madiran growing region of Southern France. Comprised mostly of Tannat, this is a nice, easy drinking red with notes of spice and dark forest fruits. The finish is slightly vegetal, complemented by ripe tannins. For the price, it makes a nice wine to pair with food. Food pairing: red meats Flavor type: traditional Body type: medium-full Finish: elegant

Purple red color with intense cherry hints. Powerful and smooth with black fruit aromas. Elegant and fruity (forest fruit, black cherry, wild cherries). Very generous on the palate. Spicy notes with flavors of very ripe red fruit.
