Tantalising nose of lightly buttered popcorn. Same on the palate but very fresh too. The oak is ever-so-subtle, perfectly balanced. A long-term favourite that never disappoints.
Nose opens with muted butter, apple, and more prominent melon. First taste has creamy citrus and a little apple again. Slight burst of acidity on the finish. For the money...nice wine. This actually is nice on its own or with lighter fair....pan seared fish and polenta in my case.
Very nice for the money. Nice balance, not overdone.
One and a half glasses
