Lindemans Cabernet Sauvignon Bin 45 2009
LINDEMANS® wines promise more than the partnering of quality grapes and craftsmanship. Every wine also contains the spirit and passion of our founder - Dr Henry J Lindeman.
This is a big bargain for me because I love this wine. I purchased it at Safeway for $5.40 per bottle. The six pack price is even less. Australia is good at what they do. This wine is of deep dark fruit aroma filling the nostrils. The tastes is one of blackberry and intense raisin current with a very slight touch of mint. The tannins are very well balanced, there is an after taste of a smoky flavor after a burst of flavor on all areas of the tongue and palate. Some may call it a fruit bomb but I call it intense flavor and it pleases me. The finish is long and appreciated.

Smooth, tasty and generous with its bright currant and cream flavors. Drink now.
Red berry fruit wears toasty oak. Has nice, smooth tannins that are uncommon in wines of this price. It's a little sweet, but I suppose that's part of its mass appeal.
Fairly rich and ripe, with a chary, smoky edge that gives way to black cherry and plum flavors.
A bold, fruity wine without much nuance, this offers blackberry and chocolate flavors, a creamy texture and some dusty tannins in the finish. Sturdy enough to stand up to steak.
Broad and ripe, with dark berry and plum flavors at the core, hinting at mint as the finish hangs on. Drink now.
Tight and firm, with ripe cherry and spicy strawberry flavors that stay with you. Ready now.
Ripe in flavor, generous with its currant and plum fruit, finishing with soft tannins. Drink now.
