I'm not a big madeira fan, but this is a decent wine as a slightly chilled aperitif. Amber color with a dry, nutty flavor.

Pretty sharp, brandy-like aroma. Attractive amber color. Classic, simple label. A fairly sour and sweet madeira, with some blackberry, honey, and lemon in the flavor. Warm, chili-like impact on the palate. Wine.com said it got 90 points from Wine Spectator; here on Snooth it says the rating was 82. I thought it was quite good.
