Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is recognised - throughout the world - as one of the finest of Champagne Houses. This success derives, first and foremost, from a clear determination to abide by long-established traditions: respect for nature and wine, dedication to quality, and strong and lasting relationships with all those associated with the company, within and without. It is also the result of the sheer driving force of Bernard de Nonancourt, the creator of the Laurent-Perrier range, and that of his daughters, Alexandra and Stéphanie, who are concentrating their own energies on preserving the Group’s independence and perpetuating its values. A vinous style racy and austere displaying dried berry pencil shaving and citrus aromas and flavors. It s full of finesse and bracing on the finish but the intensity is there. Best with food. Drink now through 2012. Wine Spectator.

There have only been 5 vintages of this Champagne made. The first was created as a gift from winery proprietor, Bernard de Nonancourt, to his eldest daughter for her wedding in 1982. This Rosé is 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. The depth of fruit is astounding recalling strawberry and currants. A Champagne for the ages.
