Lange Estate Winery Chardonnay "Freedom Hill Vineyard" 2007
Winemaker's Notes:
Lange Estate Winery has been sourcing fruit from the Freedom Hill Vineyard since 1990 and began making its namesake Chardonnay in 2004. This single-vineyard wine is a stunning reflection of a beautiful vintage that demonstrates Oregon’s potential for producing world-class, cool-climate Chardonnay. It is 100% Dijon clone 76 and fermented in both stainless-steel and French Oak, resulting in a richly textured wine with balanced acid structure. The nose displays hints of citrus, Asian pear, and vanilla while the round, rich palate bursts with quince, golden apple, and spice, finishing long and lush with crisp acidity. This Chardonnay demands your attention from first sip to supple finish and is truly a wine not to be missed!

Add your review100% Dijon clone 76 fermented in both stainless-steel and French oak, this wine displayed a gorgeous golden hue. Aromas of pear and lemon zest dominated a touch of cinnamon spice, and flavors of apples, pears and hazelnuts were rich and balanced with a long, lush, yet refreshing finish.
