Kunin Pape Star Grenache/Mourvedre/Syrah Central Coast California 2006
Pape star is a blend of 50% grenache, 25% mourvedre and 25% syrah, all grown on California's Central Coast. In the tradition of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, no new oak was used in the aging of this wine; Its richness and complexity are purely functions on the vineyad's unique terroir and the natural flavors and character of the grapes.
Kunin Wines makes New World wines with Old World sensibility. We want our wines to be representative of the variety and vineyard from which they come, and specialize in Viognier, Syrah, Grenache and Zinfandel.
