Judd's Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Estate 2005
Wine Enthusiast Review Rated 92 A lovely Cabernet notable for its trim, elegant structure. Made in a less ripe style, it shows crisp, firm acidity underpinning the blackberries, coffee, herbs and cedar. Feels balanced and refined in the mouth, a wine you might call Bordeaux-esque. Offers good drinking now and should develop through 2017. Wine Tasting Notes Judd's Hill Cabernet is a sexy, elegant wine. The first impression is all about the fruit; lush and ripe and round. The tannins are soft and integrated but well-structured, allowing Judds Hill Cabernet to age 10-15 years yet are eminently drinkable upon release. Judd's Hill Cabernet will complement steaks, spicy poultry dishes, cheddar or blue cheese, barbequed ribs and other red meats. Also, weve found this Cabernet Sauvignon to go especially well with Italian-influenced dishes.

Decadence... In moderation. In this wine, you will experience the fruit forward power and concentration that has made Napa synonymous with Cabernet. We balance this new world fruit with old world wine making, using mostly neutral French oak barrels and minimal oxygenation. This results in a wine full of ripe plum and cassis, with hints of caramel and vanilla. The finish is long, and supported by smooth, fine-grained tannins. - Winery ** Only 15 in Stock **
