Gratien & Meyer Cuvée Flamme Rosée
Winemaker's Notes:
Tasting Notes: Fine and dry French rosé sparkling wine. A very traditional cuvée which has to be discovered by everybody. Served at 6°C, it will go well together with dessert made of red fruits, or with savoury and sweet snack as an aperitif.
Percentage Grape: Cabernet Franc 68 % Grolleau 32 %
Soil: Chalky subsoil locally known as "tuffeau". The minerals in this soil play a vital role in creating wines with a fine sparkle. Another characteristic of this chalky layer is its ability to absorb the sun's warmth and to diffuse it during the night.
Vinification Method: Careful selection of the best juices during extraction, mastery in the choice of the yeast and the cellar master makes the blending of the cuvée. The second in-bottle fermentation enables the bubble formation according to the "méthode traditionelle". The wine is also allowed to age in our cellar longer than the statutory provisions required it.
