Fulkerson Lemberger Seneca Lake 2009

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

I love obscure varietals — and this one isn’t even that uncommon! Originally from the Austria/Germany-ish region of Europe Lemberger a.k.a. Blaufrankish has taken a hold in the Finger Lakes as a rising star in dry reds. Light- to medium-bodied with bright red fruit good spice and a dry herbaceous edge this is the perfect pairing for vegetarian dishes especially with grilled peppers.
