Ferrari/Antonio Il Barone 1954

Winemaker's Notes:

From Primitivo di Manduria grapes grown in the south in Puglia. Tasting notes: Strong sensations of coffee, prunes and dried fruits (figs) on the nose. Similar palate, rich but underlying supporting acidity; slight citric, tangerine note on the finish vaguely suggestive of Madeira, but sweeter.
