Ergo Tempranillo Rioja 2009
This elegant, complex wine exudes fresh aromas with decadent flavors of sweet dark cherry integrated with nuances of vanillin oak. Wine Spectator on the 2008 vintage: Toast and chocolate envelop sweet cherry and kirsch in this velvety red, which is ripe and a bit thick, but has enough acidity to stay lively. Drink now.
Martín Códax is a winery that was founded by a group of Spanish winemarkers in 1986. It is in the capital of the Salnés Valley, Cambados, in the Denomination of Origin "Rías Baixas" of Spain.
This medium bodied red gave off aromas of dark fruit, Flavor started with plum and cherry and ended to smooth oak tannins. Great for your BBQ or roasted meats.
Made with the spanish grape Tempranillo. It is a medium bodied dark red with fruity plum and berry with a hint of spice. Good wine for the BBQ.
This rather "bright" wine doesn't excite me too much. Little too astringent for me. Little in your face. Some nice dark fruit features.
Very smooth and easy to drink. Pretty fruity. I found that after leaving it sit for awhile (I had to answer the phone) that it developed a yeast-like note similar to rising bread dough. Great value for $10.
