91 points California Grapevine: Medium-light to medium golden yellow; attractive, floral, spicy, pear and green apple aroma with mineral notes and hints of tangerine, hazelnut, and vanilla; medium-full body; forward, rich, citrussy, toasty, pear and spiced apple flavors with a rich, slightly creamy mouthfeel and supported with crisp acidity; lingering aftertaste. Grapes were from the Charles Heintz Vineyard. Very highly recommended. 13.9% alcohol; 983 cases; 100% barrel fermented; 100% malolactic fermentation; released November 2012. (Dec 2012)
