Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Good dark red. Complex nose combines red fruits, wild herbs, spices and mint. Tight and penetrating on the palate; much less expressive today than the Echezeaux but dense, pure, vibrant and delineated. Showed increasing minerality with aeration but this very closed wine will need extended bottle aging to gain in pliancy. Finishes long and stylish. Vintage: 2003 02/26/2009

Deep ruby-red. Tight nose hints at black cherry, violet, licorice, fresh herbs and mint; very Clos Vougeot. Creamy on entry, then quite primary and youthful in the middle, with very good density but a youthful toughness. Quite bright and delineated f... Stephen Tanzer. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2003 Faiveley Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 750ml
