Amaretto di Saronno is an infusion of apricot kernel oil with absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, as well as certain fruits and herbs. It has a nice characteristic bittersweet of almonds and the most popular mixed drink would have to be the Amaretto sour, made with 3 parts Amaretto and 1 part sour mix.
