Cuvaison Pinot Noir Block F5 2006

Member Review by coryhwhite357:

The color is ruby red, tones of brown. It is clear, but diffuses light greatly. The nose has medium body, with oak overtones and that of late riped fruit picked late in the season. The initial taste is medium bodied, almost no fruit. It has a light mouth coat and has notes of plums and is nutty. The follow-through is over quickly and has no throat coat. This wine pairs well with spicy pork loins as it helps to cool the mouth and complements by contrasting to the main dish.
