Cristom Viognier Eola Amity Hills Estate 2011
This Willamette Viognier was wonderfully crisp, with layered lemon chiffon, lemon/lime tart and fine acidity. This is just a great summer time quaff.
Nice smells of pear, with a floral component. A bit too sweet for me, however, but the pear and mango flavors are quite nice. Very Good - 85 points.
Super fun, honey suckle taste - lovely light brown color - a delight. Actually had this with raclette.
External Reviews for Cristom Viognier Eola Amity Hills Estate
This light straw-gold colored Viognier has aromas of ripe white peaches with hints of apricots and mango along with the typical floral components associated with this varietal. The flavors are very rich and round and echo the floral/fruit combination of the aromas. This is a full-bodied wine, but the generous acidity keeps it lively on the palate.
